April 17, 1959 - October 17, 2007 From the Hamilton Spectator: Suddenly, at his home, in his 48th year, Michael Carl O'Neil passed away on October 17, 2007. Beloved son of the late Garfield O'Neil (1986) and Patricia (nee Slipp) O'Neil (2002). Dear brother of Tim of B.C. and Gary and loving uncle to Nicole of Mexico. He will be sadly missed by relatives. Michael will be forever in the hearts of his closest friends, Liz, Barb, Steve and Eve. Well-respected and admired by fellow performers. Michael will be fondly remembered as a Professional Mime Artist with his world-renowned Charlie Chaplin: Canadian Tramp and Living Statues Series characters, including John A. Macdonald, George Washington, and Private "Duckie" O'Neil. Michael's life was fulfilled with his favorite saying from Shakespeare: "All the World's A Stage". Visitation will be held at the SWACKHAMER, BLACHFORD & WRAY FUNERAL HOME, 1341 Main Street West (opposite McMaster) on Wednesday October 24, from 12 pm. to 2 pm. Funeral Service will immediately follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Epilepsy Canada. Thank you Michael and God bless!
