Except when she passed them a lewd wink on the sly. Dressed in utter black, with a blackened face, Mr. O'Neil said he got the idea from a statue of the monarch in Hamilton. What would the statue do if it came ot life? he asked himself. Children and grownups alike stood transfixed watching him. In profile, he seemed a dead ringer for the former queen".

In my hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, Sir John A. Macdonald's Living Statue comes to life and speaks presenting a 4 minute CBC Newsworld Interview (~10 - 10:30 a.m. - Newsworld - Standard Eastern Time) in honour of Sir John A. Macdonald's 189th birthday.

Macdonald's Living Statue performs (rain or shine!) at a festival event at The Canadian Royal Heritage Museum in the Village of Neustadt - Museum is a popular tourist attraction being the house where John Diefenbaker, Prime Minister of Canada 1957-1963 was born.
