Toronto Sun - Article - April 9, 2007

May 2007 - Feature Photo This month's reflection is on my Living Statue Series that I created after performing in New Zealand in 1996 with Charlie Chaplin's Canadian Tramp! Known moreso as a walkaround, my Living Statue Series performances can do BOTH! And on top of that, the show starts as I apply makeup, so there are so photos of me at my best! (Kidding!)... as well original photos of the Queen Victoria's Living Statue costume... which I'm very proud of!
June 2007 - Feature Photo

This month reflects of my first international performance tours, before my Living Statue Series, before my version Charlie Chaplin was christianed "Charlie Chaplin's Canadian Tramp" namely: Japan (Expo '90 and Thailand - Dusit Phuket)! My love of Asia - performing in several countries there has brought me much satisfication in bringing smiles to people across the world! I've been blessed with many opportunities - indeed, in the 1990's before the sad reality of the unforgettable 9-11. Also, sadly I thought of the Dusit Phuket dealing with the tsumani - Boxing Day - December 26, 2004 that also hit Phuket.

July 2007 - Feature Photo

This is very unique - going way back into my past - 1986!!!! WOW!! I have always had a creative soul within me. These pictures are taken in down-town Gore Park in Hamilton! There I am not in character - yes, that's really me! I'm thinking of a character... "THE LONELY GUY" - and there's a bit of explanation of what was going on in my head... It's hard to believe that staring at statues would have such an impact of my life.... as by staring at our city's Sir John A. Macdonald and Queen Victoria - from there came "The Living Statue Series".

August 2007 - Feature Photo Fond memories of performing again at the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival . It was great satisfaction to bring my "Private Duckie O'Neil" to the festivals, - a character created in memory of my father and grandfather who were veterans...I also have fond memories of performing my Charlie Chaplin's Canadian Tramp with my "Crossing the Street" routine in Edmonton for the first time in 1992 - this experience was a great and rewarding experience - thanks to Mr. Dick Finkel. This helped advance me to more international performance which has always been my passion and goal in life as "All the World's a Stage".
September 2007 - Feature Photo This month is unique - as photos are being posted - in no particular order of importance - or even quality! I'm not very often known as Michael - and I have many photos of myself in costume with my fellow mentors/ performers... however, these are different! Again, I'm blessed to have the career that I have.... my motto: "All the World's A Stage" and at the end of the day - the satisfaction - "We made 'em laugh" - in other words: We made a difference! Remember laughter is the best medicine... and music touches the soul!
October 2007 - Feature Photo It's very hard to believe... that Michael has left us.... it was so sudden that we were and still are in such shock. However, it is always a shock for those who are left behind... so Michael - now you are at peace. With that said, this is the last feature photo of your website...and it's very hard to post as you were so excited to launch a new one with Peter Rogers (an amazing webmaster), however, it just wasn't meant to be... so this which regardless of which you were proud of and grateful for as it is a legacy of your work, talent and impact - that will stay. God bless you... We miss you... We thank you for the memories that we all hold close to our hearts. Rest in peace and please remember we will never forget you. Till later...
