Sir John A. Macdonald's Living Statue The Sunday of the "calling of a federal election in Canada" for 2004.... May 23, 2004 Sir John A. Macdonald's Living Statue performs at - The Canadian Royal Heritage Museum - the house where our 13th Canadian Prime Minister John Diefenbaker was born in the Village of Neustadt, Ontario. Sir John A. Macdonald's Living Statue poses beside Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip pictures! and in front of the plaque honouring John Diefenbacker. Here is a close-up.... Of course, there were friends to pose with as well... There were excellent music for the festival Sir John A. Macdonald's Living Statue also listens intently... and enjoys his another pose with "Queen Victoria" (appropriately on the Queen Victoria Day weekend!) (Thanks to Liz Wagner for photos...) Despite the "rainy" Queen Victoria Day weekend... What a pity! The real Queen Victoria probably wouldn't have been too amused either... Hope you and yours enjoyed this holiday! Cheerio!
