presents....

REFLECTIONS

to remember those who died for us

with Remembrance Day - November 11th.

Let us remember the tragedy of many lost lives

in the past, and yes... recently on September 11th, 2001.

MCO's Sir John A. Macdonald's Living Statue - remembers... in front of Parliament 2001

One of my style of performance characteristics is to "put myself into the character that I am portraying", especially with the Living Statues as they appear like statues, and then come to life, relating to "present" world!

Although usually portrayed as humourous, there is also the serious side...

Looking back at these photos from this summer, before Sept.11th, the Living Statue of our Canadian Father of Confederation - Sir John A. Macdonald performed again in our nation's capital, including Parliament Hill...

Proud Canadian - Sir John A. Macdonald's Living Statue in Canada's Capital City - Parliament Hill!
Standing near statues - The Living Statue of Sir John A. Macdonald with flag!

I can't help but wonder of the utter despair that the 1st Canadian Prime Minister would be feeling, but knowing his character, he was the type of individual that would still be able to bring a smile and a laugh to fellow Canadians, which is something that we all need....as laughter and smiles are known to be great healers...

and this is the task of the Living Statue of Sir John A. Macdonald...

Indeed, usually known as a "comical" character actor,

there is also the serious side, and after all of the

sad recent happenings, I wanted to dedicate this month

to future peace to ALL throughout all of the world.

In honour of Remembrance Day...

IN FLANDERS FIELDS

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
