Michael Carl O'Neil
April 17, 1959 - October 17, 2007
In his home, in Hamilton (Westdale), Ontario, Canada,
Michael Carl O'Neil passed away suddenly...
This is one of the last pictures taken of Michael...
It was the center of his collage at his funeral.
He not only displays his epilepsy support,
but also his gentle nature that even squirrels approach him!
The poem that was thought to summarize Michael's views:

Michael as a teen-ager... as usual he looks to be analyzing and observing....
Despite many life challenges, Michael was always known to "step up to the plate"
to try new things!
His life was indeed fulfilled by his favourite saying:
"All the World's a Stage"
by entertaining thousands of people across the world...
making them laugh...
and
made a difference!
May you now find the well-deserved peace...
(including God-given peace of mind!)
that you so very much deserve...

We miss you.... but know your spirit is around us...
Your "Michael - The Archangel's Living Statue" didn't quite materialize here,
but we can need all the angels we can get (hint, hint!).
That's a bit of your humour!
Knowing how much your family history and roots meant to you, and connecting with your cousin, Marlene O'Neil in Ottawa, who passionately studies "The O'Neil's"... she wrote a message for you in your guest book which is being added as I know how much her insight meant to you and the bond that you shared...
Michael.... she also left you with these words...which is an "O'Neil" tradition...
The Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Michael in the mid-1990's
One may find it strange to add a picture of Michael at his father's grave...
However, Michael visited there often... wanted his photograph taken there...
He found the cemetery to be peaceful and good place of reflection...
and now
he is also resting in the White Chapel Memorial Gardens
in Hamilton, Ontario.
Rest in peace, Michael!
We'll always remember you - you're in our thoughts and hearts!
