This was a fact to many I was always called Charlie for this reason no one knew my actual name and Charlie personality was very strong to people.

Lulu's Roadhouse, was a wonderful place for a mime artist to develop his craft.

The high energy and rhythmic atmosphere made gesture and body movement a powerful tool. I was able to use the music to set rhythmn and beat, much as a dancer in a ballet reacts to music.

Final note, one thing that a lot of people do not know is on my first try out at Lulu's in 1987,to my shock and surprise I recognized Adam from way back when at that time in his 20's, he almost ran me over with his motor boat as a boy.

We then became friends and I use to hang out with him and his grandmother. When I asked "What are you doing here Adam?"he said: "My father is the owner of Lulu's!"...
