Michael Carl O'Neil
presents....
A SINCERE THANK
YOU!
THE LATEST UPDATE
"Setting the record straight!"
 |
Great opportunity performing this year at The Canadian
Exhibition, particularly at the Canadian Pavilion!
This photo...

of Confederation namely: "Sir John A. Macdonald's
Living Statue"on Sun., Aug. 27, 2000. |

Yes... while performing "Sir John A. Macdonald's Living
Statue" took a fall on Mon., Aug. 28th.
This was reported in Tues. Aug. 29th's edition of "Metro",
and apparently on local radio.
Obviously, as a performer, media coverage is important...
however, this was obviously an "unexpected turn of events"!
Although.... there's a happy ending!! |

For all of the wonderful support of good friends, especially
fellow buskers such as Jeff Collins and Steve Elve, I am very
grateful. To all of the many concerned performers, who offered
encouragement upon my return - "THANK YOU"!
"Queen Victoria's Living Statue" was "amusingly"
pleased to return for final performances, including a "Press
Shoot" for the TTC on Fri. Aug. 29th - (Photos to be posted
soon!). |
|
A very sincere THANK YOU to EVERYONE at the C.N.E., including
the Entertainment Committee, Administration (particularly Danielle
Bourrée, David Bednar and John Downing) along with all
of the staff, including my "helpers" - you know who
you are!
Your support and encouragement was greatly appreciated
and will always be remembered.
Last... but certainly NOT least - a very heart-felt and
sincere THANK YOU to the wonderful, incredibly efficient and
professional ambulance attendants with their drivers, Toronto
police and the wonderful care by the doctors and staff at Emergency
Services at St. Michael's Hospital.
The Outcome?
A wonderful speedy recovery!! The show "must
go on"... and IT DID!
|
 |
Indeed... Queen Victoria's Living Statue after performing
was pleased to "hang out, having tea?" with the C.N.E.'s
Critter Characters at the "Going Away" party!!
Now, I am enthusiastic for upcoming performances in Spain
- leaving very soon! Sept. 20th! |
|
After a great summer... fall is going to be fun
with new "adventures"! |
Again, for everyone's support, including the kind
phone calls, cards, and emails from friends, buskers, agents and
promoters:
A SINCERE THANK
YOU AND GOD BLESS!!
